How to Play HORSE Poker

HORSE Poker is one of the most challenging variations of poker where all of the cards are ranked. This means that the hands are tremendously harder to win in than other variations of poker such as Holdem or Omaha. Texas Holdem is based on the Holdem rules where in all the cards are dealt at the same time, however; in Omaha the cards are dealt in order after looking at the first three of the community flops. The basic rule in HORSE Poker is that the player must use two cards from their hand and three of the five community cards to form the best hand.

The first round of the game begins by the player to the left of the dealer placing a bet called the big blind into the pot. The second round of action begins when the dealer deals each player two cards face down and one card face up. This is followed by a round of betting, each player can call, raise or fold. The third round of action begins when the dealer deals the fourth community card face up. This is followed by a round of betting, again players can call, Raise, or Fold.

The fifth and final card is dealt face down and followed by a round of betting, a showdown, and a showdown. If the player is not confident that they have the best hand, they can fold but this generally requires a majority of the remaining players. The player with the best hand wins the pot.

After this round of action, the next move is that the dealer deals each player three cards face up, two cards face down and the fifth card face down. This is followed by another round of betting, another showdown and a final showdown where the players show their cards. The player with the best hand wins the pot.
